I'm a big boy, almost.

Last night, for the first time ever, Jordan slept in his crib.

(he's only napped in there, ocassionally).

We both had anxiety over it :)

He's been right next to us for the past almost 4 months..

But, we did it. He did it. AND.. he slept until TEN a.m.

I'm guessing that bassinet has been less than comfortable, for a while.

We had to let him "cry it out" to sleep.. but after about 10 minutes, he was out.

Surprisingly, I did better than Jason. I got up 2 times to check on him..

Jason got up 4. hehe.
And as you can see, above, we walked into, a happy-smiling, baby.
:-)

I love it.

Do you ever get annoyed, with some people, just being outright rude, and just... NOT nice!!!?

So, for a long time now, I've felt this way.
And I've always wanted to say it, but never really knew how.
One of my favorite bloggers, Blair, said it PERFECTLY.
So, I'm just going to post a link, straight to it. Read it. And.. as Blair says..
"quit the bitch"

A little re-cap- of her blog on this;

"So let me push your bangs out of your face & tell you this – IT’S NOT WORTH IT. Quit the bitch. Tuck that inner cat fight away into a drawer – nay, a coffin – & let her die. She’s not cute, she’s not sassy, & she’s not that weirdly-cute-snobby that can be really funny. She’s obnoxious, hurtful, & she sounds ignorant. So let me push your bangs out of your face & tell you this – IT’S NOT WORTH IT. Quit the bitch. Blair, this, is why I love you.

Lilly, my sweet kitty.

Cat's just have a way..
(or at least mine does)
  • of knowing, when you need to snuggle.
  • knowing, when you need a sandpaper-tongue kiss.
  • knowing, when you need to stop thinking, and play with a mouse.
  • knowing, how to look up at you, and tell you they love you.
  • knowing, from the other room, when you're sad, and need the company.
  • knowing, how to listen, when you need to talk.
  • knowing, how to make you smile.
  • knowing, how to be a good friend, a perfect companion.
  • & finally, knowing how to eat your household plants, and throw them up on the carpet.
There is something special about this cat of mine.
We are meant for eachother.

TGIF. Oh wait, that's every day, for me :)

SO.
I have a photoshoot tomorrow, of a little newborn :)
&
since I'm hoping it wont be my last..
I got this little basket today, from Michael's. For $4.99
However, it looks... eh, cheap.
(Well, it is).
So.... I'm gonna spiff it up.
Found me some paint. Mmmmhhhhm.

I think the darker color, makes it look so much nicer.
AND the high gloss stain, gives it a nice shine.

After about an hour of coating..
I like how some of the previous color still shows through a bit.
:)

Our Sunday

Today, we decided to RE ARRANGE, well, everything.
Along with a baby, comes a LOT of baby stuff.
And since Jordan is rapidly changing daily :-/
We need room for him to play!!
Everything was looking so cluttered.
So.. some furniture got taken apart, and stored, for now.
Tables were moved, lamps were shifted, pictures were hung..
and now, we are so happy with the way everything turned out.
(Including our AMAZING steak dinner, with carefully seasoned grilled onions drizzled with olive oil, garlic baked red potatos, and fresh green beans).
Say it with me now, MMmmmmmm.

Today, I decided to give the Bumbo play tray a whirl.
Since little Mister, all of the sudden, began grabbing toys ..
I put a couple of his little key rings on the table..
which he picked up, and threw.
A baby specialty.
He seems so fascinated by them..
and I love it.

:)
I can't believe how big he is getting.
Little man, watching TV in his chair.

Jason put together his Jumparoo.
Which we thought was a good idea.
(lol).
Turns out, he still has some growing to do, before this one will work out.
His wittle feet didn't quite reach the ground, to bounce, just quite yet.
And you take your time buddy, mommy can't take how fast you're growing!

I loved Sunday.
Sunday rocked.
Sunday is still going.
Jordan is asleep on daddy, on the couch.
The Flyers start at 8.
And I have cake in the fridge awaiting my forking.

Our Saturday.

Check out my little beach babes.
(ok, poolside babes).

Saturday, we joined Jason's cousin Bill, his wife Catinca, & their kiddos, for a little fun-in-the-sun, at the YMCA.
It was by far, the nicest one we've ever seen! There were water slides.. an indoor splash zone for kids.. a huge out door pool.. a huge indoor pool.. it was fun :)
Daddy got to take his little man swimming.

While mommy went down the water slides :)
My BooBoo's.

Swimming was followed by an awesome dinner, & some adult time (which of course, involved talking about breastfeeding and baby poop).
Dinner was followed by an awesome dessert, where I got to learn how to make crepes! They were DELICIOUS!!!
:)
A day, in which, we really enjoyed!!

Random on Thursday.

Fact about me:
(I bet you didn't know this one)
I LOVE MY BOYS!!!!!

He didn't really care too much about the slide.

Or the swing.
lol.
One day...
he will love them.

Yes, they have the same ears. And face.
And attitude.
:)
Love em.
xo.

Dear Jordan.

My Sweet Baby J.

Today, you are THREE months young.

You are so strong. We can't get over, just how strong you are. You have an incredible grip. You love to hold onto mommy or daddy's thumbs, and stand up, like a bog boy.

You're trying so hard to roll over. You love watching hockey. Your big, gummy smile melts our hearts.

You're trying to hold your own bottle.

You're growing up so fast.

You have mommy's big eyes, and daddy's ears.

Daddy says you're going to be lean and muscular like mommy.

Tomorrow, I'm going to take you down your first slide.

We want so much for you.

Right now, we are going through so much, but as a family.

We will continue to trust in God that everything will be okay.

We love you, more than I can ever explain.

Below, is a video, of you, when you were born.

:)
