This entry may make you fall in love......

because of this baby right here..
and this sweet picture.
:::awww:::
As we put up the Christmas decorations, this analytical child of ours was all over whatever he could get his hands on.
And you know what?
We let him.
Let him feel, move, throw, pull, study, and investigate whatever his little heart desired.
Because he's cute, and he deserves it.
Today, he loved standing at that window seal. He loved peering outside, seeing what the outdoors had to offer for the day. He crawled right under that Christmas tree, and perched himself right there for about 30 minutes, and just took in the world.
And I watched him. I watched every second of it.

I loved today.
There was something about Jordan today... we were so connected :)
We played for hours.
He laughed, I laughed, Jason laughed, and I swear Lilly did too.
We had a nice visit from Gamma and Grampy, and Jordan was all full of smiles and energy.

I love how he stands on his tip toes...

Every item I pulled out of that bin, he wanted a piece of it.
And we loved watching him.
His FAVORITE item so far, the snow globe.

I'll be searching for some 'baby safe' snow globes ...

It's holiday craft time.

Once Jordan is off, into dreamland....
I wander off into blogland.
Carefully searching through pages and pages of ideas, for cheap and easy crafts..
because I LOVE *unique* decorative items.
The HOLIDAY season, is when bloggers LIGHT UP.. and the ideas are soring.
Recently, I came accross this; a Thanksgiving wreath, so cute.
But, since turkey day is already here... I decided to go for the Christmas theme. Here we go...

ALL I NEEDED;
  • Foam Wreath (less than 5$
  • Burlap (it was less than $4 a yard)
  • Fabris scrap pieces
  • Ribbon
  • Hot glue

Cut the burlap into strips... hot glue it around the wreath.

Cut your burlap, and fabric pieces into strips (all lengths and widths for flower size variety).. roll it up and glue it as your rolling it into it's flower form...

place where desired.

I added a little "floof"... for 1$ I picked up that pine cone & holly doodle you see glued on there...

Hot glue & tie a bow into your ribbon... and enjoy.

I burned my fingers glueing those damn flowers about 30 times. But, I fricken love how it came out.

What the heck am I up to next?! hmmmmmmmm.....

Hi LiL.
Today, at Tuesday's Playgroup.... we had Thanksgiving craft day at Momma Sharon's house!
Little turkey hands, with glued on feathers :-)
Another memory to tack into little one's scrap book !
Happy Thanksgiving !!

Im bursting with ideas.

Dear Jordan,
Please stop growing up so fast.
Kthnx.
Love,
mom.
That is my child. Standing. Reaching into his toy bin.
Studying every item intently, until he makes his final selection.
By the way, I'm quite proud of that 'toy bin'.. which is in fact a laundry bin, purchased at Ross for less than 10$.
Wicker... fun to look at, very light if topples over on baby, and wont squish those precious little fingers.
Mmmmmhhhhm.

Check out Mister Turkey.
I've been on the search for a Thanksgiving outfit for boo. Everything 'holiday' seems to only be sewn for girls.
So, screw you Target, Walmart, Kohls, Penny's, Macy's, .. well that's all.
I MADE MY OWN.
Hobby Lobby...
  • Plain colored T's in all colors and sizes, for less than 3 buckaroos.
  • Felt. 4 for a dolla.
  • Embroidery floss, which I've had a box full of it since I was 12, when I used to make friendship bracelets.
  • A creative mind... some scissors, and lots of stitching.

VOILA!

still deciding if I want to add feet. it's my feetless bird.

Since Jordan decided to stay awake until 10:30... I decided, to clean his room.
I threw every dag nabbid piece of clothing in that room, into our living room, to be sorted, and to depart of what no longer fits... and to surface what's being neglected.
He just so happened to totally dig the giant pile of laundry.
SO, we played in it. For hours :)
And we laughed. And daddy watched football.
And when the Eagles scored, Jordan went for the wildest piggy back you can imagine through the living room, and had the brightest look of happiness that is impossible to put into words.

Peanut's day with the fishies.

Today, we took Jordan to the FL Aquarium.
With his extreme curiousness we knew he would love looking at the fish.
I hope you enjoy our little re-cap...

Tuesday on 2 hours.

After working an overnight 12 hr shift, I never thought today would work out as nicely as it did.
Boy do I love that I was wrong.

Since my husband has been super kind enough, to help my 90+ year old grandfather paint his house.. my job for the morning was to let daddy sleep in a bit, get him over there to paint, and to stay awake and have fun with this little booboo of ours.
I figured I'd be exhausted by now, and fast asleep well before 11:30 pm.

After dropping Jason off, Jordan and I ventured to Starkey Park, to meet with playgroup, where Jordan explored the textures of the playground, and the cool breeze on the swings.. next to his little buddy's Lennon and Alex.
Thanks to Janine for the pictures ! :-)
(not too shabby for being awake for 18 hours at this point)..
Jordan went back and forth from wanting to try to climb up and hold onto the bars... to not being so sure and looking at me for reassurance. :)

Our evening continued with;
  • 2$ taco night at Zim Zari's.. (can't beat that)..

where we were joined by Janine, Lennon, and Ouma!

where Jordan (for the first time ever).. SAT IN A HIGH CHAIR THE WHOLE MEAL.. and was SUCH a good little boy, we were so proud. :-D <--- big grin..
  • successfully purchasing birthday gifts for 1/2 Grammy's with Bdays this month..
  • Oh how I love Pier One Imports.... (where I stare and wish I could afford it all, lol)
  • Making, and taking a chicken dinner over to Jordan's GREAT grandparents...
  • Cleaning & re-organizing our desk area.. (way over-due) it is SO awesome to have that done!
  • Choosing the veggie dishes that we will be taking to Thanksgiving dinner!

GOODNIGHT!

Too cute.

Since booboo was going to be in PA with daddy, visiting family, for Halloween.. you betcha I got him dressed up in his costume, for the privelage of having the first glimpse, at this adorable little boy as a wittle lion.
So cute I can't stand it.

sitting on daddy's lap :)
Visiting his GREAT grandma :) up north..
this picture will be forever classic!!! hehe
sitting with Jason's grandma...
Why is my son afraid of his great grandparents?
I'd say it's that carpet.. but my grandparents don't have that going on..
is it the old people smell? The gray hair?!
lol
Everytime I take him to see my grandparents.. he does this very thing.
JORDAN!!
Smile for your great grandparents already!!
haha!
