2:25 a.m.

ummmm this sucks.
I am really tired. Really.
(I guess I better get over that, it's only going to get worse, or stay the same, I dunno).
It's 2:30 a.m. and I cannot sleep. I am exhausted. I don't think I added this to my previous blogging.. but I was diagnosed at my last visit, with pregnancy sleep apnea.
Here's a good description I stole off of a website for ya; "Obstructive sleep apnea is a disorder characterized by loud snoring and brief, involuntary breathing pauses during sleep. (The Greek word apnea means "want of breath.")
Sleep apnea sufferers may briefly stop breathing and then wake with a gasp, start, or snort as many as a hundred times a night or more. People with sleep apnea rarely remember these episodes in the morning, although they may wonder why they feel so tired all the time."
Well, I DO remember these episodes. Just tonight, I woke up and felt like I was being choked. It's really not fun at all. We have a glorious, pillow top mattress, which I'm sure is going to be amazing once I can enjoy it normally .. but I think it's making it worse. I need to be sitting up high, which is annoying enough, and this mattress just sucks you in.
So.. I went into the guest bed.. laid in there wide awake..
and now I'm on the couch, where I know I wont sleep much at all.. or possibly roll myself right off the side of it. But hey! That will make for an interesting entry, surely.
A few more days... and baby will be out..
then, I can complain about other things that hurt.. (lol)
But at least I will have my lil guy within arms reach to remind me that it's all worth it :)

What I've been up to..

It's been a while since I've really dug into my scrapbook bin..

This is one of the few projects I did..
First time I ever tried it really.. bought these little cardboard frames from Michael's..
they come in all shapes, sizes, and colors..
and made a little magnetic picture frame..
:)
For my friends that are recently engaged.
OH.. and here's a new belly picture.. taken 02-24-10

The news.. =)

I had my Dr's appointment this morning, still at 1 cm dilated, but she said I am "thinned" & "ready" .. lol.. I didn't get a % or number.. but I was overwhelmed and I forget to ask specifics.
SOoooOOooooOOoo
INDUCTION IT IS.
They are calling me Friday, to confirm everything with me again (since mommy's have mommy moments and we forget stuff)...
MARCH 3Rd... 7 am we shall head to the hospital (if he doesn't decide to come before then)! IV shall be started, juices will flow, and agony shall begin!
If you're reading this, I'm going to get just a little graphic :)
(don't say I didn't warn you)
Pretty sure I just had that bloody show thing.. I thought I peed my pants at first.. haha!
But no, it was a good amount of brownish discustingness.. and perhaps some mucous..
So, who knows?! Maybe he will come sooner!! I guess I will be able to vouch for those that say the bloody show = labor within hours or days ! hmmmm...
::::Jason's text message today, at 11:55 a.m. ":) I don't want to wait anymore, can we just have him today?"::::
Well, maybe!!
So I was completely calm, before THAT just happened, now I'm going nuts, cleaning and sterilizing.. binki's and bottles and nipple things...
EeeeEeeeeeee :)
How I know I can get through this:
Jason ::::"WE CAN DO THIS. And I will be there with you every step of the way. You're the strongest woman I've ever known and you're going to be a great mother."::::
=)
Off I go... nest nest nest...

argh.

crabby moment; 2 annoyances.
1. Our microwave is broken. May take 2 weeks to get the new one here.
ugh.
(but, looks like we're gonna get to borrow one, so ok, fine).
2. O-M-G, I am so uncomfortable. I can't take it anymore.
(Dr apt in the morning..)

Even though I'm the one full of baby, I think Jason is truly just as anxious to meet little man as I am. Today, he got to meet his cousin's 7 week old baby girl, Isabella..
and he came home totally confident that he is ready to meet his son, now.
:)

I'm happy to say, that even though I feel like I pee at a rate of 30ml per 30 min, I have managed to get some good studying in. Goal accomplished. Keep it up, me.

My day has revolved around waiting for 10 pm, where I get to watch my ridiculous addiction, to "16 and pregnant"
I love that damn show...
Although, I'm quite confident that they could make a 26 and pregnant out of me and some of my friends, and have a really good program.
I have some truly, entertaining, and funny friends. If you happened to have read my recent facebook status re; the need for a pedicure, you know what I mean.
I'll just go for the direct quote- by my hilarious friend and fellow blogger, Janine;
"A pedi and a vagi...especially before you deliver! ('Vagi' is short, for 'Vagicure'...kinda like pedicure.) Just a little pampering (AKA hair appointment), down south. :-p Doctor's have feelings, too!!!"
(lol, I love my girls).

Spaceless me.

So... I'm totally slacking on picture snappage.
I swear this is about to change, and then you'll see more pictures of baby then you'll care to.
=)
The snow is still covering the ground, and for those of you that have ever experienced living in/being in snow, it's no longer the pretty white, fresh snow. It's the, I've been walked on, dog crapped in, snow plowed, icky snow.
SO nothing is really making me feel like it would make a pretty picture right now.
I cannot wait for spring. I should shout that.
I cannot WAIT for spring.
Last year I don't feel like I really took full advantage of just how pretty it is when the trees start to bloom here. When everything starts to bloom here.
That's another goal of mine. Baby in stroller and us in a park.. :)
Snapping away and enjoying nature.
I guess most of my happy thoughts lately come from thinking about future events..
I don't really like where my life is stuck right now.
I shouldn't say that.
I am very grateful for my life :)
But, sick of winter and continuing to be anxious about the arrival of Jordan.
Just as I managed to SQUEEZE the last items all over the guest bed into Jordan's drawers and cubicles... we decided to take our final trip to Babies R Us, to use our gift cards and coupons and purchase the remaining items we need.
5 bags later, a giant pack n play, & 1 baby bathtub later...
where in the heck am I going to put all of this?!?
I have always heard of "outgrowing" space, I guess I never really realized what that meant. He's not even here yet and we are struggling for space!
But, hopefully by the time he's really gathering toys n such, we'll be out of this apartment and into a house of some sort.
Until then, creative arrangement of furniture it is.
And maybe me giving up some closet space.
Next Dr's appointment- Weds morning..
where I was told that we'd probably start talking about induction..
since I've been sort of, stuck, at 1 cm dilated now with no further progress.
The avacado is still too firm.
?
:)
Until then, I plan to study my little brain off.. for a final I NEED to take..
and hopefully that will consume my anxiety over waiting for this next appointment.
That's what it comes down to at the end.. you're waiting for it to happen on your own, or your living appointment to appointment.

Keeping the Faith

I will not let recent events break me...
I will trust in God, accept the encouragement from good friends and family, and embrace the comfort of my husband.
I will continue to wait patiently for the birth of my son :) and continue to be thankful daily that I am blessed with life inside of me..
I will take a warm bubble bath when I start to lose control, and pray, and hold nothing back...
I will continue to work on my faults, and try to be a better person...
"Prayer requires more of the heart than the tongue."

Long week.

Not sure if I should be "blogging" right now.. I feel like their should be rules, like drinking and driving.. don't blog when over tired, you might read it later and go.. huh!?
Last weekend I woke up feeling completely horrible and ended up with an ear infection & pharyngitis..
which is getting better I think finally but I'm still congested and all of that fun stuff.
I'll update about the snow madness another day, just tired of even thinking about it right now.
Glad to be home and safe though. Thank God for good family.
I had my weekly Dr's appointment today, baby is still in there :)
Heart still sounds good and everything appears to be progressing, I'm dilated 1 cm as of right now and my cervix is ripening.. sounds funny to say that.
I'll admit, I asked Jordan for the first time to please stay in there, where he is safe and sound until I know we'd make it, safely, to the hospital.
I was very nervous last night being stuck in the blizzard, literally stuck..
so far away from my delivering hospital.
He listened to his mommy :)
I'm thankful I had today off, I was soooooooo tired from not sleeping well and being up late, then up early due to the snow. Back to work tomorrow- then off for the weekend, where I can hopefully get rest and get OVER this sickness. I can't imagine being sick through labor.
Next Dr appointment, on Wednesday!

hibbity hoo.

Lately, everything I wear ends up hurting my lower abdomen. Even my underwear.
Baby is sitting low now, and everything I wear, sits right below him.. when I sit, whatever I'm wearing, digs into my skin.
So I end up with this painful, indent, of whatever clothing is around my waist at that time.
Cmon.. I'm 36 weeks already, don't tell me I have to go out and buy even MORE loose fitting clothes!
One of the best books I've read, was Belly Laughs, by Jenny McCarthy.
Now, if you're not pregnant, or have never been pregnant, I don't recommend reading it.
It just wont be the same, and honestly, I don't even think you should read it while pregnant, until about your 5th month, so you've come to experience and can relate to the things she's talking about.
In one of her chapters, when talking about pregnancy & hot flashes, she talks about how she ended up being naked all the time just to be comfortable.
I feel like this is my own little chapter..
how am I going to be comfortable... hmmmm...
There was also a chapter about her buying MuMu's... but I don't think I'll go there :)
So maybe I'll just invade Jason's drawers while he's at work tomorrow.
=)

36 Weeks.. he's still in there :p

First of all, I AM SO TIRED!!! :)
I tossed and turned all night, even though I have the most comfortable bed ever. Sigh.. and at one point I was snoring so loudly, Jason woke me up and told me to turn over because I was snoring in his ear :( hahaha
I really can't be mad at him.. he was SO helpful all weekend.. even did the grocery shopping and made dinner Sunday night!
Here's a little re-cap of updates;
Saturday- I went shopping with my girlfriend.. took advantage of Victoria Secret's semi anual sale :) Oh how I love that sale..
then I got ready for what I thought was a surprise 50th Birthday party.
well, SURPRISE! I walked into everyone standing in a semi circle, awaiting my arrival, a table packed full of food and goodies.. and what seemed like a stage full of gifts for our spoiled little boy!
It was really nice, Jason stayed with me and hung out in the back with the guys.
His entire SUV was packed full of gifts.. =) we felt very loved and blessed.
I'm pretty sure baby J has more clothes than I do now. I'm going to have to change him 4 times a day so he gets to wear them all!
We love our carseat/stroller..
our rocking/glider :)
wayyy too much to name..
I even got a gift for mommy
This wonderful little clay pack called a Thermipaq..
you can heat it up in the microwave or freeze it.. oooohh it's so NICE.
I had my 36 week appointment today..
nothing exciting at all .. just the usual.. listened to lil guys heart beat..
blood pressure is good.. weight is, well, a lot...
but she said it's still okay..
I received my when to call us instructions..
and next week we'll see if I've started dilating at all!
She said the snoring is normal at this point (lol)
baby is pushing on my diaphram while I sleep, must be a comfortable position for him.
Our hospital bag is packed and ready to go...
you HEAR THAT in there.. we're READY!! TO! GO!! hehe
I came home, and couldn't find Lilly.. so I walked around, squeeking her name..
until finally I went in our bedroom, and heard a little meow.. that came from, my bed?
I lifted the covers...
:)
How cute is that?!
