What would Easter be without baskets filled to the brim with candy treats such as Cadbury Eggs (thanks momma).. new toys like this shiny new boat, and plastic eggs? :)
After a much needed nap secondary to an early morning, we got ourselves together, and headed out to enjoy Easter Sunday.

"Bringing up a family should be an adventure, not an anxious discipline in which everybody is constantly graded for performance."

"The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together."

"A baby is something you carry inside you for nine months, in your arms for three years and in your heart till the day you die."
C O N G R A T S to Rick & Lena, who are now expecting baby #2 !

"The family is where children and vulnerable family members should be able to go for safety and support."
