Saudi Arabia.

On Thursday, October 1st, Jason took a 14 hour plane ride to Saudi Arabia for some International Business opportunities. He describes it as a life changing experience that he is very happy to have been a part of. He was extremely busy while he was there, squeezing in a pop tart for breakfast, and not eating again until late that night. He was able to take a few pictures from his hotel window of the city of Riyadh.

This was the hotel he stayed in.

He met one of his co-worker's there, she had already been there for a week. Although an American woman, she was required to wear the traditional Abaya while there.

The men would not shake her hand and she was not able to enter certain buildings, but Jason descibes everyone as being extremely nice, & some of the friendliest people he's met.

5 times a day the city "shuts down" for prayer, businesses stop opperating and a loud religious music is played throughout the city.

Which Jason will gladly impersonate for you. haha.

Notice the desert sand in between the cities..

Although he didn't capture pictures of them, there are, "many Pizza Huts, Dominos, and Burger Kings around.."

When traveling to where they needed to go, they cruised the city in a fully loaded BMW for the small cost of 100 U.S. dollars an hour..
(but according to his description of driving rules there, you're greatful to be in a vehicle that alerts you when you, or someone else is inching too close to your vehicle).

On our way home from me picking him up, we stopped and got 2 pumpkins =)

and 5 baby pumpkins for around the house.

Now for some good ole American Pizza and wings...
