Wedding week :)

My wedding weekend was quite eventful!!
......................................................
Tuesday
I came home from a long night at work to my 2 best friends from FL, Amanda & Ashley sitting on my living room sofa :)
I heard stories about their ride to my house from the airport where Amanda was very excited about "leaves on the street" in PA... haha
Wednesday
The girls and I woke up to a bright, sunny, beautiful fall day :)
I planned a self guided tour through historical Philadelphia for us..
& was very proud of myself for never getting us lost.. with the help of wonderful mapquest and my Garmin Nuvi ;-)
The sun was shining, just perfectly over the Liberty Bell tower ...
We then ventured to South Street, Philadelphia where we toured the unique, one-of-a-kind stores... spent too much money on shiny new jewelry, and sank our teeth into some famous cheesesteaks from Steve's, while watching the Philadelphia Phillies on tv of course.
It was fun for me to introduce my friends to my new life, a new city, and a Philly Cheesesteak ;)
In the evening we went to King of Prussia Mall, where we did some quick shopping.. I begged the frigid woman at the store where I got my dress if I could exchange it, since mine became a bit snug against my growing belly (and by a bit I mean it wouldn't even stay zipped) .. where she said NO, due to their strict no exchange or return policy.. ugh.
Then we sat down for a nice dinner at Cheesecake Factory .. mmMmm
Thursday
Time to pick up my mom from the airport! :)
Ok, so I made it through Philly just fine, but why do airports have to be so confusing? haha
My mom and I had a nice car trip to my house from the airport, the vines growing from the rock walls on the side of the highway were turning a gorgeous shade of red, and the trees were showing signs of fall..
While I was doing all of this, my wonderful fiance heard about my dress dilema, and made a phone call on my behalf, where he worked his "magic".. and soon told me, "Get to that store, go find yourself a nice new dress..they have your name and are waiting to help you" :-) I don't know how he does it... hehe
The girls, my mom and I rushed to the store, where my mom and I searched through countless dresses, until I found one that was just perfect!! RELIEF!
That night all of my bridesmaid's, myself, and my momma went to get manicures and pedicures..
& Chrissy had made a delicious treat and planned a fun little project for us :)
FRIDAY
I was very excited to take the girls to Peddler's Village. It is one of my FAVORITE places to go at any time of the year, but of course, it's so gorgeous during Autumn. All of the cottage-like stores decorate and look so festive..
and I just love all of the unique, hand made items you can find there..
We were a bit rushed for time though since we had to get home and get ready for the rehearsal at the church and dinner!!
(Which made Ashley a little car sick.. hehe)
Rehearsal went well, the Pastor made fun of me because I wouldn't look at Jason while rehearsing our vows.. (the tears were already flowing!..I was trying to avoid that from happening) haha..
Dinner was soooo yummy.. we ate at OOKA, a Japanese Hibachi Grill unique to this area..
The girls stayed the night with me and before I knew it...
SATURDAY
Our Wedding Day :)
aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it's raining!!
Amanda and I got up early to visit MAC :) where I got some fancy new lashes and she bought some fun new items..
got home and started the ever so stressful getting ready process..
although everyone was "amazed" at how incredibly calm and relaxed I was.
Thank God! The rain stopped mid afternoon and the sun started to poke out.. the clouds started to fade and the blue sky was making itself be known..
and at 3:00 in the afternoon... my mom walked me down the isle and I happily became
Mrs. Jason Roberts :)
The ceremony went perfectly, minus a little stumble over my dress going up the steps, which is to be expected from me!! haha..
Jason tried to kiss me a little too soon, which made for a fun laugh and a moment to remember..
The reception food was DELICIOUS and Jason's mom, and family did an awesome job..
Kristy, Jason's cousin MADE all of our bouquets and flower arrangements!
The boys set up all of the music equipment where we set up our IPOD play list ;)
There were cake-in-the-face moments..
A perfect first dance..
Proud parent's of the bride and groom..
and a very much in-love, newly wed.. husband and wife :)
..............................
But I couldn't let things end there!
The bridesmaids and groomsman and a few close friends came to our house afterwards, where we hung out and continued the party..
listened to Rich jam out on the guitar..
and stayed up wayyyy to late..
:)

And I could not ask for more....
