It's been a long time since I've updated, which is not what I want to let happen too frequently with this site :)
I've been getting a lot of questions so I think it's time I do a little about me update.
I had another ultra sound today. Baby is 28 weeks, 1 day.
He was measuring 2lbs 15 oz, which the girl said is "slightly above average" for weight right now, partly due to his daddy spoiling me with too many home-baked chocolate chip cookies :)
I am blessed to say that everything looked very good, and he appears very healthy.
As the ultra sound tech tried to catch a glympse of his little face, we noticed his hand moving.. so she held it there for a few minutes and we watched him open his mouth and stick his fingers in...
I joked with her that he was picking his nose and eating it already :)
I recently had my baby shower in FL, I had a special guest travel with me :)
Which I am still trying to figure out how to thank her for everything she does for me.. having such a friend like her is a blessing..
(along with my other good friends that I love)
Baby had a good time at the shower, loved hearing everyone's voices, and can't wait to show off his new stuff for all of you to see !
He says he misses his Grandma and Grandpa though ;-)
mostly ANXIOUS, which grows stronger everyday.
He moves alllll the time now and I just want to see him and kiss him :)
Work is starting to get to me at times, being a nurse where I work is very physically demanding for anyone, let alone a round pregnant woman! haha..
I am on my feet ALL night long, and some nights probably sit down for maybe 20 minutes. Makes me nervous and uneasy at times because I know they say you should try to avoid work like this, but I have to do what I have to do.
For all of you reading this that have been through this before, I'm sure this is jogging your memory..
sleeping is becoming more difficult, yet I want more of it :)
I have to sleep on my side, with a pillow sort of propped under my belly, just to be comfortable..
I'm getting random back pain and side pain..
and my fingers or feet will swell sometimes depending on what I eat or how long I've been standing.
OH, and the pushing on my RIBS! eeeek!
Jason is awesome and I don't know how I got so lucky to have him :)
He is so patient with me and my prego hormonal moments.. haha..
my random "I want a warm cookie" cravings..
my.. I'm too tired to fold laundry right now..
my outburst recently when a driver behind me started beeping for no reason
and I got out of the car freaking outlike I was going to vaporize her with my eyes. lol
Married life is suiting us quite well... we learn about eachother every day still and love every minute of it :)
I'm proud of my recent accomplishment.. getting him to eat, and LIKE broccoli!
haha, if you know Jason, you know that's a "big deal"...
We just shared our 2nd "cutting down the Christmas Tree" experience together,
and then of course, getting the crooked thing to stand up straight.
(which only took cutting a ton of the branches and about 60 minutes of frustrating moments full of colorful language).
There has been recent difficult changes, and events in both his side of the family and mine, but everyone continues to be healthy and okay, so all I can do is pray that those things all work themselves out.
It's officially 1:15 am and past my bedtime...
Good Night, all! :)
