Just another cold Sunday

Jason and I just shared our second "New Years" together...
& we can't believe how much has evolved in the past year .. how much has changed, and will continue to do so.
November 28th, 2008.. I made the big move to PA.. and I can't believe I've been living here for over a year already.

I think starting a New Year, always makes you reflect on what was...
One thing always brings a smile to our face.. and that's thinking back to the night we met..
..................................................
May 3, 2008.
He stared at me from across the room..
I pretended not to notice..
Until I couldn't take it anymore, and I smiled at him.
We danced like no one was watching..
& spent hours getting to know eachother in the sand.
That morning he got on a plane...
And a few weeks later so did I.
Over 1,000 miles just to see..
if what we felt that night was real.
What I thought might be the craziest thing I'd ever do..
turned out to be the best decision I ever made.
..................................................
This time last year, I was scared out of my mind.. orienting to my new job..
was experiencing my first northern winter.. and had no clue what was in store for me, or us.
We had spent many months flying back and forth, to see eachother and maintain our very unique relationship, that everyone was sure would fail.
But we quickly learned that we really were best friends.. & 'meant to be'
We laugh everyday, and act like big kids together :)
...........................................................
Me, totally smitten...

January 2009, Jason asked me to marry him..
:)

October 10th, 2009... we became Mr & Mrs Jason Roberts... Father's Day 2009 (how ironic).. we learned that we had a little bean growing in my belly :)

So I can conclude that... 2008, was meant to unite me and my 'future husband'

2009, I married my best friend..

and 2010 will welcome OUR SON :)
and biggest adventure yet to come!!!!

Now, hurry up lil guy... mommy is running out of space for you in there!! hehe
