Sorry this blog isn't going to have any fun pictures on it..
I have my photos loaded on the desk top and right now I'm so tired, I'm perfectly content sitting my round butt on my soft couch with the lap top!
This week has been an emotional roller coaster.. with the combination of continued hormones, and now being sleep deprived.
Having Jason home with me and Jordan was so nice. I loved every minute of it, and he did too. His return to work hasn't REALLY hit me yet.. because my mom is here now :) to keep me and Jordan company.. and lend a set of caring hands and eyes when I want to squeeze in a nice warm shower.
But when she flies home, the combination of that making me sad, and Jason being back at work.. is a moment I'm really nervous about. Wednesday of next week is going to be a killer for me. I can't even type without the tears pouring down my face thinking about it.

Having a new born is WORK! It's more than work..
Especially as a breastfeeding momma! We did give Jordan his first bottle tonight, of pumped milk, but I'm still super nervous about that with all of this talk not to introduce a bottle too soon. But he's such a good feeder I'm hoping it will be okay.
Jason and I are exhausted, as to be expected. His sleep patterns are very unpredictable still, some nights he sleeps in about 3 hour intervals, where he wakes up and wants to eat.. (other nights, not so much..)
Jason truly has a magic touch, with Jordan. He just loves to snuggle with his daddy, and usually he can get him back to sleep much easier than I can. Maybe it's because I can't hold him for more than 10 minutes without planting my lips on his sweet, soft cheeks.
I am really hoping this bottle thing works out though, I really need to be able to have Jason feed him once or twice a day so I can take a nap sometimes too!
I mean, I can easily nap on the couch with Jordan, but you don't sleep quite the same when you're worried about holding your little baby in your arms..

My mom and I decided to take a little trip to Kohls, to shop a little bit...
I also took this as my first crash course in taking Jordan out without Jason.
Stroller in the trunk (heavier than I thought, not to mention I'm still in pain from this C section)
and baby in the car seat.. my first time, putting him in, and taking him out of the car myself.
I was successful, but I did need my mom to help me get the stroller in the trunk. I think once I have my strength back completely, I will be okay.
I did run into several things at Kohls with the stroller though. Oops!
But I made out with a robe I'm in love with (so soft)..
and Jordan is currently sleeping in his rocket onsie that grandma got him :) Thanks grandma!

So now all I REALLY want to do.. is scoop up my little munchkin, get him cleaned up and into his bassinet.. and snuggle with my husband..
(pretty sure this is the first time he's gone to bed by 9:30 on a Friday!) haha..

Speaking of munchkin & sleep time..
We have a picture in our bedroom that I framed with white Christmas lights.. we've been plugging that in at night as our "night light"..
Jordan's bassinet is pulled up right against my side of the bed, and I end up with my pillows pulled down, turned towards him all night, so I can see him whenever I need to.
He makes so many little squeaks and sounds at night!
