Random thoughts, after baby :)
1. Jordan is awesome.
2. People were right, "enjoy your sleep now".. because you wont be getting any after that baby is born. True, but you know what, waking up to your little pumpkin is totally worth it. As soon as I see his face, I smile because he's so damn cute, and I don't care that I'm being waken up at 4 am.
Besides, we take some quality naps together during the day =)
3. Little boys pee. EVERYWHERE. Down the wall, across the room, and straight at you and down your shirt. Even when you think you're safe, you're not.
4. Babies fart really loud. They also fart when they poop, equally loud. It still, shocks me daily.
5. Ubillical cords are weird. I can't wait until his falls out.
6. Which brings me to my next thought.. we love bath time :) And we can't do a "real bath" until that thing falls out! But the sponge bath is fun, and who doesn't love the smell of a freshly bathed baby.
7. This kid is a total boobie lover, and let me tell you, he LATCHES. Sometimes he gets frustrated when he can't quite seem to find my nipple, he makes this snort sound and throws his head back and forth. It's hilarious.
8. Tonight, daddy stuck his finger in Jordan's mouth. Now he realizes, why mommy is in pain ;)
9. Baby onesies with feet- I wish I had bought more of them. He LOVES his fleece onesies. 2 piece outfits, cute, but when something pees this much, the convenience of little snap buttons or a zipper is priceless.
10. Why am I still nesting?! I feel like I want to straighten up and clean all the time.
11. Baby blues. Mom's, you understand. They'll get you, out of no where. Including while you're walking through Ross. And they come on just as strong as contractions.
12. I love Pier One. Ok, so this is off the subject, but I went today, and man, I love that store. I got a neat picture frame for Jordan's newborn photos that I took :)
13. I want to be blogging about something more in depth right now, but I'm pulled away from the computer constantly, so I just don't have the time. I thought about it earlier, when Jordan was taking a long nap, but I decided I'd better benefit from a nap myself.
14. I love my husband.
15. I'm super excited, my mom flies in tomorrow, to meet Jordan. We wish dad could come too! But it's all the reason to plan a trip to FL as soon as I can :)
16. Folding baby laundry, so much nicer than big people laundry.
17. I cannot believe how much my belly shrank already. But then I look at the scale... and realize I've got some work to do! (hellloooooo thai bo).
18. My son is not a binky fan. He'll give it a go for 5-10 minutes, then he's over it, completely.
19. I'm impatient. When are his eyes going to be the color they're going to be? :)
20. Aaaaaahhh it's almost time for nice weather. I can't wait to go on more walks with him. Go to the park. I guess I need to learn to breastfeed in public. hmm.
21. My right boob leaks more than the left one. bahahaa.
22. Still trying to figure out, how I'm going to shower, pee, and eat, when Jason goes back to work. :-/

You will learn how to do a lot of things while nursing, like put laundry in the washer, and cook dinner. I quickly became a pro at doing just about everything with a child latched to one side of me :). It is amazing the things you figure out how to do when you are desperate to keep your child from crying.
